Car crashes into Milton building

MILTON, Vt. -

A car crashed into a building in Milton Monday night.

Officials say the car ricocheted off a support column into the Hair & Nails Express on Route 7, busting the glass out of a window and damaging a support column.

The driver, James Carleton, 24, of Milton, was taken to the hospital. Police say speed, alcohol, and drugs are factors in the crash.
