National Signing Day

Wednesday was national signing day.  The first day high school student athletes can make an official commitment as to where they will attend college.  East Montpelier's Iris Dayton, who starred for two years at U-32 before moving to a prep school in Connecticut, has signed to play soccer at South Carolina.

At Richford High School, Elli Purrier signed her letter of intent to attend the University of New Hampshire.  Purrier earning a full scholarship to run cross country and track at UNH.  Purrier is a three-time Vermont state champ.  She's also the reiging two-time New England cross country and Nike Northeast champion.

One of the state's best football players will play at the next level.  Hartford High School offensive lineman Michael Dulac signed his letter of intent to play football at Bryant University.  Dulac, who started every game of his high school career, has been the anchor of a powerfull offense that led the Hurricanes to three straight Division One state titles.  Bryant, located in Smithfield, Rhode Island, competes in the Football Championship Subdivision, formerly known as 1-AA.
