The Plattsburgh State men's hockey team scored three unanswered goals to skate to a 3-1 win against Brockport in a State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) game Saturday night at the Stafford Ice Arena.

Brockport (5-16-2, 4-10-1 SUNYAC) jumped out front when Jesse Facchini picked up a puck that bounced off the backboards and lifted a shot over the glove side of Plattsburgh's Mathieu Cadieux at the 4:06 mark of the first period. Chris Cangro earned an assist on the goal to give the Golden Eagles an early 1-0 lead.

The Cardinals (16-6-1, 11-2-1 SUNYAC) drew even 48 seconds later with Brandon Beadow burying a centering pass from Kevin Emmerling for his third of the year.

Later in the period, Jared Docking through the puck on net and Dillan Fox poked in the rebound to put Plattsburgh up 2-1 at 14:36 of the first. Alex Jensen rounded out the scoring at 6:59 of the third, taking a feed from Docking and sending it through the legs of Brockport goaltender Aaron Green.

Cadieux stopped 24 shots to improve to 12-6-1 for the Cardinals. Green recorded 33 saves in the loss for Brockport.
