Medical marijuana in the Granite State is closer to becoming a reality.
Twice in last four years, New Hampshire lawmakers passed bills to legalize medicinal use of marijuana -- only to vetoed by Governor John Lynch. But the state's new governor, Maggie Hassan, is likely to support the legislation. Four years ago as a state senator Hassan voted to override one of the vetoes. Her Spokesman Marc Goldberg says Hassan has not changed her support for tightly controlled, medicinal use of marijuana.
