WEST LEBANON, N.H. -

About two dozen people have been displaced by a fire in West Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Crews responded to the Valley Gardens apartment complex around 9 a.m. Monday Firefighters said a fire broke out in an interior corridor of the Seminary Hill structure.  Fire officials credit a rapid response for being able to keep damage to a minimum.  But despite, that, the tenants will have to find another place to sleep for the time being.

"Actually mostly more structural damage due to forcing some doors to get in to do a search of all of the units and then there is a stairwell in the front that needs to be there for means of egress," said West Lebanon Asst. Fire Chief Jeff Libbey.

All of the tenants have been directed to a nearby library where they will be meeting with Red Cross officials.  The cause of the fire is still being investigated. There were no injuries.
