Human remains found on Maine island

KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine -

Police are investigating whether remains found in Maine could be that of a student from Burlington.

Twenty-one year old Zachary Wells of Burlington and a classmate from The Landing School in Arundel, Maine disappeared nearly eight weeks ago. They were last seen at a late-night party. At the time police found the boys' clothing, but not their bodies. Sunday human remains were found on an island off of Kennebunkport, Maine. Police are investigating whether they are Wells and his friend.
