Letter carrier charged with receiving pot

BENNINGTON, Vt. -

A Bennington County letter carrier plead not guilty to felony possession charges for getting marijuana in the mail from California.

The Rutland Herald reports Shea Mayhew, 26, of Bennington, received about a pound of pot in the mail back in December.

Because this case involves moving drugs across state lines, he could face federal charges as well.
