WINOOSKI, Vt. -
She was trying to bake her way to the top, but did a Vermont woman cheat her way there instead?
Gretel-Ann Fischer, the owner of Cupp's Café in Winooski, was a contestant on the national TV show "The Next Great Baker." The season finale aired Monday night, and with only three competitors left, Fischer changed a competitor's oven temperature and hid baking sheets. Fischer made it to the final two, but ended up losing.
Fischer says she did nothing wrong and posted a photo to her Facebook page saying it wasn't cheating.
