South Burlington home invasion suspect caught

SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -

South Burlington police say they've caught a home invasion suspect.

Police arrested John White, 24, inside a home on Spear Street just before midnight. Police say he broke into the home of a stranger and and stole computer equipment before assaulting the homeowner with pepper spray.

He was arrested without incident.

White is facing charges of assault and robbery, burglary and possession of ecstasy.
