CONCORD, N.H. -
Union fees are up for a vote in the New Hampshire House Wednesday.
Granite State lawmakers are again considering whether to bar employers from negotiating contracts with unions that collect fees from nonunion workers.
Supporters say it is unfair to force workers to pay fees, even if it's part of a collective bargaining agreement between workers and their employer.
If the bill passes, nonunion employees would not have to pay union dues for contract negotiations.
A similar bill was defeated last year.
