
RICHMOND, Vt. (AP) - A Vermont police department says two homes and a car on Cochran Road in the town of Richmond were burglarized within hours of each other.
Richmond police say the burglaries occurred between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
In two of the cases, the homes were broken into by a suspect or suspects who forced open doors.
In the first burglary a tablet computer and a jewelry box full of change was taken.
In the second burglary cash and personal documents were stolen.
In the third case, police received a report that an unlocked vehicle had been gone through, but it did not appear that anything was taken.
