Vt. Country Store gets new CEO

MANCHESTER CENTER, Vt. -

One of Vermont's best known brands has a new CEO.

Chris Vickers is now the president and chief executive officer of the Vermont Country Store.

The Rutland Herald says Vickers has been with the company since 2010 as their chief merchandise and marketing officer.

He takes over the top spot for Bill Shouldice, who left The Vermont Country Store to run the Vermont Teddy Bear Company.
