2 men wanted in Vermont captured out of state

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Two men wanted in Vermont were captured out of state.

U.S. Marshals say Aly Tran, 45, has been on the run since October 2010. He was wanted for sex assault on a minor. Authorities caught up with him in Kansas.

And in Chazy, N.Y., Francis Mesick, 60, was captured Friday. He failed to register as a sex offender.

Both men were located thanks to the new Vermont Violent Offender Task Force.
