Pedestrian struck in Burlington

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

A pedestrian was hit by a car in Burlington.

It happened Saturday night near the intersection of Riverside Avenue and North Prospect Street. Police say 21-year-old Chase Manifase was transported from the scene. The driver, 24-year-old Minela Beric was not injured. The crash is being investigated. Police are are reminding pedestrians to use of sidewalks and cross-walks.
