Dummerston woman died of crash injuries

GUILFORD, Vt. -

An elderly woman died after a serious crash in Guilford.

Police say Mary Evelyn Lunge, 64, fell asleep at the wheel on Weatherhead Hollow Road. Her car hit a tree. Her passenger, Jean Anderson, 94, of Dummerston, died three days later-- on Feb. 10-- at the hospital.
