Enosburgh crash splits car in half

ENOSBURGH, Vt. -

A crash in Enosburgh Monday night left a car split in half and its driver in the hospital.

Franklin County Sheriffs say the crash happened on Perley Road when the car left the highway and slid sideways, striking a tree, which tore the car in half.

The driver had to be taken out by rescue crews and was transported to the hospital. No word yet on that person's injuries.

Police say they do not know the cause of the crash yet.
