WINDSOR, Vt. -
Part of Interstate 91 northbound was closed for several hours Wednesday morning after a five-vehicle pileup.
Police say slick roads caused multiple cars to spin out and crash into each other on the highway between exits 8 and 9 in Windsor just after 2 a.m.
A firefighter responding to the accident was injured dodging one of the cars and was taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center with injuries. Two of the drivers involved were taken to Mount Ascutney hospital for minor injuries.
