HEBRON, N.Y. -

Another Eastern New York man has pleaded guilty to stealing nearly $200,000 in gold coins and jewelry from an elderly woman.

Police say Edward Thieverge, 34, of Greenwich, pleaded guilty to stealing from the home in Hebron, a rural town on the Vermont border.

Prosecutors say Thieverge and Eric Martin, 32, of Argyle, stole about 70 antique gold coins and jewelry worth $191,000 last August and sold them at pawn shops to buy heroin and cars. They were caught last September. Martin pleaded guilty last month.
