SHELDON, Vt. -
Drivers around our region faced some slippery roads during the morning commute Wednesday. And the conditions appear to have contributed to a bad accident in Sheldon.
Vermont State Police say an SUV and a car were approaching each other on Route 105, when the SUV slid across the centerline into the path of the car, which collided with side of the SUV. Police say the driver of the SUV suffered serious head injuries. Both drivers were taken to the hospital.
