New menus at colleges across Vermont-- the schools are switching up what they're serving students this week.
Wednesday, a global chefs program got under way at the University of Vermont. It's designed to expose students to unique tastes from around the world.
Lunch in the Davis Center included an array of Swedish offerings prepared by a Swedish chef flown in for the experience.
"They're in college and it is supposed to be a learning experience. So, if we can bring authentic cuisine straight from foreign countries, it broadens their palates, it lets them get a better experience," said Brian Roper, a Sodexo chef.
The world food tour is bringing international chefs to campuses across the United States. The program will travel to St. Michael's College, Champlain College and Clinton Community College in the coming days.
