BURLINGTON, Vt. -
In Vermont there are about 3,500 people diagnosed with cancer each year and there are about 29,000 cancer survivors. A new group formed last year to help those survivors in a new way. "Survivorship NOW" aims to help fill the gap after treatment ends. Susie McNamara is a facilitator with the group and Jerry Jeffords is a Cancer Survivor that's involved in the program.
