A suspicious early morning fire destroyed a horse barn in Monkton.
Police say the blaze on White Ridge Lane was reported by a neighbor around 3 a.m. By the time crews arrived the The barn and an attached indoor riding ring were engulfed in flames. Officials say the 14 horses that are kept at the barn happened to be outside at the time. There were no injuries reported but damage is estimated at more than 150-thousand. The cause is still under investigation, but authorities say it looks suspicious.
