SOME TIPS TO HELP TAME AN AGGRESSIVE DOG:
- DO NOT physically correct your dog or attempt to physically push your dog on his/her side or back in order to demonstrate dominance.
- DO NOT correct warning signs like growling.
- DO attempt to IDENTIFY what caused your dog to react.
- DO attempt to diffuse the situation by creating some distance between your dog and the things that cause him/her to react.
- DO contact a professional trainer who uses up to date, scientific approach to training in order to positively reprogram your dog's response and help him learn to be relaxed and confident.
