ROSEAU, Dominica, Feb. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Dominica (pronounced Dom-in-EEK-a, and not to be confused with the Dominican Republic) today announced that six hotels on the eastern Caribbean island recently earned recognition on the prestigious 2013 TripAdvisor® Travelers' Choice Awards

Dominica, a haven for adventure travelers, is a spectacular green island of rugged mountains, lush rainforests and rushing rivers in the Eastern Caribbean. TripAdvisor is the world's largest travel site.

The six award-winning hotels include the following recognition:

Secret Bay took the top spot for "Top 25 Small Hotels in the Caribbean," and the No.3 spot for "Top 25 Hotels for Service in the Caribbean." Beau Rive took the No. 5 spot for "Top 25 Small Hotels in the Caribbean," and the No.17 spot for "Top 25 Hotels for Service in the Caribbean." Beau Rive offers dramatic views of Anse Francais and Wakaman Point.

Dominica's Jungle Bay Resort & Spa was recognized as No. 13 on the "Top 25 Hotels in the Caribbean." The award-winning resort is one of the Caribbean's top adventure eco-resorts offering rustic luxury, wellness, spa and retreat experiences.
