Burlington police search for armed robber

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Burlington police are searching for an armed robber.

Police say at about 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, a Burlington man was robbed at gunpoint at North and Lafountain streets. The suspect reportedly stole a large sum of money and marijuana the victim had recently purchased.

No one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a thin black man, 5'9" to 5'10", wearing a red puffy jacket, black jeans and a Washington Redskins hat. He was last seen running east on North Street.
