International Ski Federation, special logistics company and leading Swiss travel agency, Globetrotter Travel Service, join forces for Sochi 2014

Thanks to its own travel agency, the International Ski Federation (FIS, Fédération Internationale de Ski - http://www.fis-ski.com) has strategic advantages in sports team transportation. From now on the International Ski Federation is cooperating with sports- and cultural project logistics company Conceptum Sport Logistics (CSL - http://www.conceptum-sport-logistics.com). The company with offices around the globe is an acknowledged expert in worldwide transportations of sports equipment of the team, not only for winter sports but also for many other sports disciplines.

The cooperation of FIS Travel and Conceptum Sport Logistics is essential, especially regarding the upcoming remarkable event - the Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi. "When two companies combine their expertise and know-how, both sides gain advantages. Especially the athletes benefit from this", says Heinz Gurtner, the CEO of FIS travel agencies. Globetrotter Travel Service, with 22 travel filials in Switzerland, complements the successful partnership. Since 2009, the company has provided all travel services for the Swiss Olympic team - and everyone willing to come to Sochi can book the tickets through Globetrotter. "Despite careful planning of the 2014 Winter Olympics, flight and accommodation booking as well as transportation arrangements might be a challenge. The cooperation of the three companies with the Olympic experience is a guarantee of an ideal solution!" assures Dany Gehrig, the CEO of the Globetrotter Travel Service.

The partnership has proven successful during the first test competitions: "Together we are stronger - in the light of the upcoming Olympic Games the cooperation with FIS Travel is an invaluable advantage". (…).
