
Teal Gove tallied a hat trick as the Plattsburgh State women's hockey team skated to a 5-0 win over Neumann in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Women's West Semifinal game Saturday at the Stafford Ice Arena. With the win the Cardinals improve to 24-0-2 overall and advance to the ECAC West Championship game on Sunday at 3 p.m.
The Norwich University women's ice hockey team got goals from five different players en route to a 5-0 victory over Southern Maine in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) East Tournament Semifinals on Saturday afternoon. Junior forward Tori Charron stretched the lead to 3-0 in the 2nd period with a power play goal for her Division-III leading 30th goal of the season.
Middlebury broke open a 2-1 game with a pair of third period goals on its way to a 4-1 victory over Connecticut College in a NESCAC semifinal game in Kenyon Arena. The Panthers (17-6-2) advance to the NESCAC Championship game for the ninth time in the 12 years of the tournament, and will play the championship game at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
