Hancock home destroyed in fire

HANCOCK, Vt. -

A weekend fire destroyed a home in Hancock.
 
The Rochester Volunteer Fire Department was one of several crews to respond to the blaze at the home on Route 100 Saturday morning.  Fire firefighters say the house -- which hasn't been lived in for quite some time -- is a total loss.  At this time the fire is not considered suspicious, however state investigators have been called in to determine the exact cause.  No one was injured battling the blaze.
