Log truck crashes in West Enosburgh

WEST ENOSBURGH, Vt. -

Slippery road conditions caused a log truck crash in West Enosburgh Monday night.

Police say the truck was coming down the hill on Route 108 by the West Enosburgh Country Store when it went into the ditch to avoid hitting a car that had turned out into the snowy road.

The log truck rolled on its side and had to be unloaded. Fire crews were able to contain some leaking hydraulic fluid.

The driver was not injured.
