WILLISTON, Vt. -
Investigators in Williston are thanking the public for helping them catch a purse snatcher.
Police say Dawn Kivela of Burlington, who is also known as Dawn Gaboriault, brought a friend's baby along to the store Once Upon a Child in Williston, where they say she swiped someone's purse and hid it under the baby's blanket.
After her photo was shown on TV, police say people quickly identified her. They have also recovered the purse and some of its contents.
