NY: crash and shots fired after police chase

NORTH HUDSON, N.Y. -

 

A police chase ended in a crash and shots being fired in North Hudson.
New York State Police and fire crews are on the scene on Route 9. 
Fire officials tell Channel 3 News the police chase began in Warren County and ended when a state trooper and the fleeing truck collided.  Sources say shots were fired after the crash.   The trooper was taken by ambulance to the hospital.  The driver of the truck is dead.
