Peter Burke from Calais joins us to talk about his new book "Indoor Gardening: Seed to Salad in Seven Days."
It's a guide for gardeners who miss their fresh greens during the winter.
Burke says his technique is so simple it can be executed in any dwelling, including apartments and dorm rooms. His manual, which he says he refined based on field-tests conducted over the course of several winters, features basic and advanced information to appeal to first-time and experienced gardeners alike.
Since 2006, he has taught gardening workshops on a variety of topics including Indoor Gardening, Square Foot Gardening, Extending the Garden Season, Salad Garden, Herb Garden, Growing Wheatgrass, and Fall Garden.
