PSB approves Newfane cell tower

NEWFANE, Vt. -

A new cell tower aims to bring better service to the Newfane area.

The Public Service Board approved the 139-foot tower, which does not meet requirements set by a town ordinance regulating communication towers.

AT&T says it would provide much-needed service to the area. But some residents say it's too close to their homes.
