Superbell petunias

Posted: Updated:

Welcome to Superbell land! These are all different versions of the annual flower, calibrachoa, which is a small little petunia that's been on the market for a number of years now. It's a lovely plant to grow in window boxes, small containers, and small pots. It's self cleaning, so you don't have to deadhead, disease resistant, heat tolerant.

In Superbell land, there are all different colors of the rainbow. One of my favorite lines of these flowers, is the Punch Series. There's 'Raspberry Punch', with the nice red flowers, 'Apricot Punch', that has more of a golden flower. 'Coral Berry Punch' with a salmon color, and then 'Grape Punch', which has a purple colored flower. What's nice about these is that they've different variations of the same color, such as a deeper throat, or a lighter petal. What's nice about that, is when you're mixing and matching these calibrochoas in a container, you have more of a variety to use all of the different colors with them side by side.

Now, if you like the single colored varieties there's a bunch of them too. There's 'Scarlet', 'Saffron', and 'Dreamsicle', all with different bright colors. Here's one that's taking the world by storm, it's 'Lemon Slice'! It's beautiful, with yellow and white stripes on the flowers. It's bright, cheery, it just wants to say hello to you!

All of these will be available in garden centers this spring so go out and if you're  looking for something for a small container, consider the Super Bell series!
