Police ID suspect in Hinesburg hit-and-run

HINESBURG, Vt. -

Police in Hinesburg say they've found the man responsible for a hit-and-run in Hinesburg Wednesday.

Investigators cited Jeffrey Kirby, 41, of Starksboro, for leaving the scene of an accident. Police say Kirby hit an 8-year-old boy in a crosswalk outside Hinesburg Community School. The boy was not badly hurt.
