PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -
Students got the red carpet treatment in Plattsburgh. They were the winners of an anti-bullying video competition.
The winning students from area elementary, middle and high schools arrived by limo Wednesday night at the Cumberland 12 Cinemas where their videos debuted on the big screen. Friends, family and classmates were invited to the event.
This is the second year of the contest sponsored by Champlain Valley Educational Services and its task force against bullying.
Saranac Elementary, Beekmantown Middle and Moriah High School won top honors for their videos.
Cumberland 12 donated the use of one of its theaters, as well as popcorn for the screenings.
