Chazy residents urged to cut water use

CHAZY, N.Y. -

Homeowners in Chazy are being asked to cut back on their water usage until a pump can be fixed.

The Press Republican reports the malfunctioning pump is preventing the 200,000-gallon tank off Miner Hill Road from filling to capacity.

The problem was reported on Wednesday, and town officials say they will let residents know when it is fixed.
