Man charged with DUI, fleeing the scene

ENOSBURGH, Vt. -

An Enosburgh man is charged with drunk driving on the same day he was set to appear in court for a previous drunk driving case.

Police say just after noon Thursday, they responded to a two-car crash on Tyler Branch Road in Enosburgh, where the driver at fault had fled.

Police caught up with 38-year-old Timothy Perley later on though, when he showed up to his court hearing in a car being driven by his father.

Perley is being charged with his third DUI, leaving the scene of an accident and driving with a criminally suspended license.
