Power problem at Ticonderoga hospital

TICONDEROGA, N.Y. -

A malfunctioning breaker knocked out power for an hour to part of the Inter-Lakes Health Hospital in Ticonderoga.

The outage affected the ER plus four other departments. Ambulances would have been sent to another hospital during that outage, but there were no emergencies during that time.

The interruption occurred during scheduled electrical maintenance being performed by an outside contractor.
