Motorcycle crash ties up traffic

SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Northbound traffic along Shelburne Road in Burlington came to a crawl Sunday afternoon.

Four motorcycles were traveling downtown when they were tangled in a collision.

The accident happened shortly after 4 p.m. near the intersection of Shelburne Road and Flynn Avenue. One of the drivers was taken to Fletcher Allen.

Police say it appears that speed was a factor.
