70 mph speed limit proposed for part of 1-93

NEW HAMPSHIRE -

A bill in the New Hampshire House would boost the speed limit on the western part of I-93 to 70 mph.

The House will vote Wednesday whether to raise the limit from 65 to 70 from Exit 18 to the Vermont border.

The current speed limit through Franconia Notch, which drops down to 45 mph, would remain the same.
