Bus hits bicyclist in Burlington

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

A bicyclist was injured when he was hit by a bus in Burlington Tuesday.

Police say a Mountain Transit bus struck a 42-year-old man at the intersection of Colchester Avenue and South Prospect Street.

The bike rider was wearing a helmet and police say his injuries were not life-threatening.
