BURLINGTON, Vt. -
There's a new dining option for folks traveling in and out of the Burlington International Airport. Over the weekend the Skinny Pancake Restaurant opened. The new venue brings 38 full- and part-time jobs to the airport.
The addition comes following lengthy debate over the livable wage waiver it received to operate.
"It's absolutely amazing. It is the future that we have been waiting for in so many ways," said Gene Richards of the Burlington International Airport.
A million dollars in renovations are also in the works for the Hudson News venue across from Skinny Pancake. The expanded venue, along with new men's and women's bathrooms, is slated to open in about a month.
