A Middlebury business is being featured on a national television show this week. It's called "Small Town, Big Deal." The show showcases people, places and events across rural America, and the crew made a pit stop at Maple Landmark Woodcraft.
One of the co-hosts of the show, Rodney Miller, says Vermont is exactly what they were looking for.
"We look for things that are unique. I think this toy factory is a good example. You know, we are looking for things that are a big deal in a small town-- that's our name! And this is really a big deal in a small town," Miller said.
The episode is Vermont-themed and will also include the Sugar Bush Farm and the Vermont Country Store. Producers say the Vermont Chamber of Commerce suggested dozens of options for the show, and from that the final three locations were chosen. The episode will air on RFD-TV this spring.
