
Quincy CollinsBURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A New York man has been sentenced to seven years in prison after he pleaded guilty to a charge of possession with intent to distribute heroin, crack cocaine, and powder cocaine in Rutland, Vt.
Quincy Collins of Troy, N.Y., was arrested in February 2012 after police executed a search warrant on a hotel room he and two others occupied.
During the search, troopers seized 153 bags of heroin, 26 grams of crack, and 37 grams of powder cocaine from the 32-year-old Collins.
One other person was arrested with Collins. Tiante Branch, 32, of Troy, was sentenced in January to 10 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to charges of possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime.
