LEBANON, N.H. -
Voters in Lebanon, N.H., have approved
the sale of the city's old junior high school.
Students have not attended class there
since a new middle school was built down the street.
The city has signed an $851,000 sales
agreement with a local developer for the property. Plans include
townhouse-style apartments and shared recreational space, while rehabbing the
building's historic façade.
Voters approved the deal on a vote of
723-355.
