Truck sideswipes bus, leaves student with minor injuries

FAIRFAX, Vt. -

A Georgia Elementary School student suffered minor injuries Wednesday afternoon when a tractor-trailer sideswiped a school bus and took off.

Vermont State Police say the bus was headed north on Route 104A in Fairfax when the truck hit the bus's mirror. That sent glass flying and one child was hurt. The student was treated at the scene and sent home.

Police are still looking for the tractor-trailer.
