Train, tractor collide in northern NY

CHAZY, N.Y. -

A tractor and train collided in Chazy Wednesday afternoon.

The tractor was hauling a wagon when it crossed the tracks between farm fields just north of Chazy village. The Amtrak Adirondacker was heading south about 12:30 p.m. when it hit the tractor.

The driver of the tractor wasn't hurt, but the impact split the tractor and wagon apart.

The train was held up for about an hour and a half.
