Drivers on Interstate 93 in New Hampshire near the Vermont border may soon be able to drive a few miles faster.
The Union Leader reports the House voted Wednesday to increase the speed limit from 65 to 70 miles an hour on I-93 from Canterbury to the Vermont border.
But the speed limit in Franconia Notch would stay the same.
That measure now goes to the Senate.
But the house put the brakes on other speed increases, like one proposed for Interstate 89 from Concord to Lebanon.
