A Vermont cheesemaker is celebrating success on a national stage.
Spring Brook Farms' Tarentaise cheese was runner-up at the 2013 U.S. Championship Cheese Contest in Wisconsin. More than 1,700 cheeses were entered, totaling more than 30,000 pounds. Organizers say that's a record number of entries.
Vermont took home six gold medals at the event, as did New York.
